Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the EventSnag mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

EventSnag is operated by Shimmer Labs, operated by Logan Shimmer ("we," "us," or "our"), based in the United States.

Description of Service

EventSnag is a mobile application that:

• Captures event information from images (photos, screenshots, flyers)
• Uses artificial intelligence to extract event details
• Stores events locally on your device
• Optionally syncs events to your Google Calendar
• Provides weekly event roundup notifications
• Enables sharing event lists with friends

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use EventSnag. By using the App, you represent that you are at least 13 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use EventSnag only for lawful purposes. You agree NOT to:

• Violate any local, state, national, or international law
• Upload content that infringes on intellectual property or privacy rights
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code from the App
• Use bots, scrapers, or automated systems to access the App
• Upload illegal, obscene, defamatory, or harmful content
• Interfere with or disrupt the App or servers

Intellectual Property

EventSnag and all related content, features, and functionality are owned by Shimmer Labs and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Your Content: You retain ownership of images you upload. By using the App, you grant us a limited license to process your images for the purpose of extracting event information.

Third-Party Services

EventSnag integrates with third-party services:

• OpenAI: For AI-powered image analysis
• Google Calendar: For calendar synchronization (optional)
• RevenueCat: For subscription management

Use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.

Disclaimers

EventSnag is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

AI Accuracy: While our AI aims for high accuracy, we do not guarantee that extracted event information is 100% accurate. Always review event details before adding to your calendar.

Calendar Sync: We are not responsible for issues with third-party calendar services.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Shimmer Labs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the App.

Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or the App.

You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it from your device.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the new Terms in the App and updating the "Last Updated" date.

Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Oklahoma, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
